Desk Cleaning 101!

Good Evening.

Today I cleaned my desk and moved it down stairs along with my desktop computer.

This task required concentration and time. I had to first clear my desk and the cupboard on the right. Once that was done I had to unplug all of the parts of the computer and carry down the monitor, keyboard and mouse. After that me and Mum carried the desk down the stairs to the Music Room (Also known as the Toy Room or the Games Room). Soon that was done and I had the task of plugging everything in. First I plugged in the multi board to the wall. Then I plugged all of the power cables into the multi board.  Next I plugged the monitor, keyboard and mouse to the computer. After that I was done.

Vibrant Viola Step it Up

Today I did the Vibrant Viola Step it Up challenge. I read about Beethoven’s ode to joy and found out that it had lyrics from a poem by the german poet: Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller. The music that I composed is not very good in comparison with Beethoven so do not expect a very good piece. Here it is.

My piece makes me think about either a rollercoaster or life because of it fairly rapid changes in pitch.

Rebus Challenge

Today I did the Rebus Puzzle Challenge and made these puzzles.

“What puzzles?” I hear you ask and to that I answer:

These puzzles

I enjoyed making the puzzles although coming up with things to put in the puzzles was quite hard and should have had a resource to teach learners to come up with ideas.

Monday Morning Cold by Sir Halton Wood and The Knights Of The Rectangular Chair.

This is the song Monday Morning Cold by Sir Halton Wood and The Knights of the rectangular chair. I made it using a software called Groove Pizza. I had lot’s of fun doing this and I think that it was a good challenge. I made up Sir Halton Wood for a story I wrote at school where he is a noble plotting the downfall of Queen Victoria. The Knights Of Rectangular Chair are a parody of The Knights Of The Round Table in the Arthurian Legends. The song name is also made up by me. I made the picture of the king with Dall-e some time ago with the prompt: King Alfred the Great.

What I did today.

Today we went to culley’s to buy sauce and also bought a hotdog at the dogfather outside. After that we bought swimming togs for a week at Waiheke in January. Whence I arrived back at home I cleaned the house for many hours. Once I was done with that I had dinner and went to bed.

Ko Wai Au?

Ki ora. Ko Oliver tōku ingoa.

I am a year 7 soon to be year 8 boy at Te Kura o ngā Pāraepōhatu. My favourite subject at school is either breakthrough or music. In my spare time I play videogames and dance. I go Geronimo Performing Arts for my dancing and I do ballet, tap, musical theater, hip hop and jazz. I am also one of the first people at stonefields school to get a blog and do summer learning journey. I look forward to sharing with my school my experience with the summer learning journey and blogging. I also do hope that this is beneficial to all involved.

First Post.

This is my first post ever and I am doing it after we have just finished our LAC at Te Kura o ngā Pāraepōhatu. The theme was “it takes a village.” It was quite good but I was rather disappointed when I was nominated for the 4th maybe 5th time in a row.
